GFCS Task Team Meetings

Following the recommendations of the Intergovernmental Board on Climate Services at its second session (Geneva, November 2014), two ad-hoc task forces were established to: (1) refine and finalize the monitoring and evaluation (M&E), criteria and process for the Global Framework on Climate Services (GFCS) and (2) finalize the operational and resource plan for the period 2015-2018.

These task forces will meet for the first time in April to commence their work with a view to finalize the documents for the consideration of the Management Committee of the IBCS at its third meeting, scheduled for October 2015.

The task force on the operational and resource plan will meet on 27-28 April and the task force on M&E will meet on 29-30 April. Both meetings will take place at WMO headquarters in Geneva.
