Event TabsSummaryDates: Tuesday, November 1, 2016 to Thursday, November 3, 2016Location: Arusha United Republic of Tanzania TZ The Programme Steering Committee for the Global Framework for Climate Services (GFCS) Adaptation Programme in Africa will take place in Arusha, Tanzania, on 1-3 November 2016. The meeting is co-organized by the Tanzanian Meteorological Agency, as a local partner of the Programme, the GFCS Office and the World Meteorological Organization. The first day of the meeting aims to review progress in implementing the Programme. The meeting also aims at sharing experiences, lessons and challenges from the implementation of the Programme to support the design of Phase II which will start in 2017. The second day of the meeting will provide updates on on-going activities including an indigenous knowledge write-up workshop. The third day of the meeting will consist of a participatory planning and working session with all the partners and the countries' project delivery teams (PDTs) to review and revise the Phase II project proposal.
