Rwanda's National Framework for Climate Services to mainstream climate science into decision- making

Representatives from climate-sensitive sectors, program managers from government institutions, and other professionals gathered in Nyamata, Bugesera District on 5-7 December to develop Rwanda’s National Framework for Climate Services as part of the Global Framework for Climate Services' implementation.

Yesterday, MeteoSwiss received the annual Research Award of the Swiss Forum for International Agricultural Research (SFIAR) for the Climandes project. The cooperation project between the Peruvian meteorological service SENAMHI and MeteoSwiss and other partners was awarded for their commitment to smallholder farmers in Peru.
